Ragi Dosa

For Ragi  Dosa

  • 1 Cup Ragi Flour
  • 1/2 cup Rice
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 1/2 Poha
  • 1/2 Curd
  • salt to taste
  • lemon juice 1 tsp

For filling –

  • 1 thinly sliced onion
  • colored bell pepper
  • 2 chopped green chili
  • chopped cilantro
  • freshly grated coconut
  • 1tpsp sesame seeds(Roasted)
  • 1tpsp flex seeds(Roasted)
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil

    Directions-

  • Soak the Rice ,urad dal and poha for 3-4 hours then grind it and make a smooth paste of it then add ragi flour,curd ,salt and lemon juice and add required water make it like dosa batter .
  • wishk it nicely ,the batter should be lump free and smooth. Cover and allow to ferment for 3-4 hour (I kept it on oven for fermentation but if you are in hurry or you want instant you can add 1/4 tsp baking Soda in to it )
  • For filling ,just stir fry onion ,bell peppers,green chili  for a minute in high flame and keep aside then add sesame seeds ,flexseeds,coconut ,cilantro ,salt and lemon juice and mix it properly .
  • Heat the griddle or dosa tawa ,pour the batter with the help of ladle and spares it slowly .Pour some oil(if you need ) and cook it for 2 minutes at 350 degree F on griddle .
  • After 2 minutes add the filling mixture on the top of dosa and fold it very nicely and serve this with sambas and chutney.
